Quintiq, part of Dassault Systèmes, is looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in Tokyo, Japan.

In Asia, we employ staff providing 80% of Quintiq’s global solutions and serving strategic customers located in the region.
Department & supervisor
You will work as part of a team of experts and will report directly to business unit directors of Business Unit North East Asia.
You will be based in Tokyo, Japan. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues around the world. Domestic and international travel to and from customer sites and Quintiq offices is required

Responsible for identifying new business opportunities for Quintiq and expanding our software footprint in the existing customer base
Identify and build portfolio of customer accounts in alignment with country and corporate strategies
Deliver on quota targets set for you
Enable new solutions for Japan and oversee comprehensive strategy for each customer and opportunity acquisitions
Evangelize the Quintiq value proposition in the market place, ensuring that Quintiq is the preferred provider for sophisticated planning and scheduling software solutions
Generate leads, establish solution proposals, and develop high quality presentations representing core value propositions of our company
Execute on business development strategy to support regional and corporate objectives
Have strong sense of teamwork, collaboration and mutual support for fellow employees
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of business development and account management experience in software industry and with solutions requiring excellent consultative selling skills
Industry knowledge in Logistics, Metals or Manufacturing will be an added advantage
Possess strong networks with various levels within potential customer organizations
Experience in complex sales cycles e.g. selling large scale ERP/SCM solutions to large corporate and/or government entities
Experience in utilizing solution and product selling techniques, allowing advantageous positioning of the capabilities to win complex and large accounts
Proven eagerness and enthusiasm to grow within the organisation
Entrepreneurial attitude with a proven track record in delivering against budgets
Strong communication ( Japanese ), interpersonal and presentation skills
