Quintiq, part of Dassault Systèmes, is looking for a Delivery Director ( SEA).
We are leading developer of planning & optimization software applications, is looking for a Consulting Services Delivery Director within our SEA region. In this role you will be responsible for growing software implementations practice with an exciting and challenging complexity of customers solutions
You will direct business operations and resources of the SEA consulting practice and you are accountable for managing the three main pillars of a consulting delivery practice: delivery management, people management and enabling sales.
In 2015, the South East Asia (SEA) Business Unit has witnessed unprecedented growth. We are delivering projects with one of the largest oil & gas companies in the world, one of the largest container lines in the world, and a number of smaller, but equally complex projects with major companies in the region. The existing projects provide opportunity to significantly expand the consulting side of the business unit, akin to the situation we have seen in Australia. Growing the consulting business requires dedication and focus, thus the new position of BUD Services Delivery SEA.
Department & supervisor
You have profit and loss responsibility of the SEA practice, reporting directly to GM responsible for our APAC region.
This position requires the person to work out of Kuala Lumpur or Singapore offices but we expect you to work with colleagues around the world.

Accountable for the operational and financial goals of the consulting practice and overall business results of the BU
Responsible for setting and driving strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer reference-ability
Actively developing new approaches and opportunities for expanding the customer base Identifies, leads including overseeing the development of customer-facing business solutions and offerings that have an impact on the markets
Responsible for building and maintaining close collaboration with License Sales and Pre-Sales to enable knowledge transfer and continuous learning of solutions and capabilities
Accountable for managing and growing a substantive revenue stream from the existing customer base, whether sold with or without new license
Accountable for selecting and managing a team of delivery consultants with the correct expertise with full capability to fire & hire resources as practice-specific needs evolve
Creates and implements operational processes to drive consistency and support achievement of practice business strategy
Resolves staffing issues for very complex engagements by utilizing all available sources of resources including SEA, Global Development Center and independent partners’ resources
Serves as key advisor or project sponsor role for complex engagements
Interacts internally and externally in negotiations on executive level
Minimum of BA Degree in Business or Computer Sciences (MBA or a similar Masters degree highly advantageous) balanced by proven advanced technical skills, functional knowledge, client consultative skills and operational management experience
3+ years of consulting services senior management experience with P/L responsibility
At least 6 years consulting or industry experience relevant to this position
Direct line management experience including both field teams and project teams
Preferred secondary management experience: proficient at managing project managers and large consulting delivery teams consisting of both Quintiq resources and Quintiq partners’ resources
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive levels within the customers’ organizations.
Proficient in using selling and negotiation techniques and tools
Unconstrained ability to travel on moment’s notice throughout the region
Depending on circumstances, you will be expected to spend up to 80% of your time traveling away from your home office
