Quintiq, part of Dassault Systèmes, is looking for a Sales Support Officer.

We are currently seeking to appoint a full-time passionate and motivated Sales Support Officer to be based in our Melbourne office. Reporting to the business unit director, this position is responsible for supporting the Sales Team across all levels of the sales cycle – from the identification of a sales opportunity to assisting in closing sales deals. This role will see you providing support to a dynamic Sales and Marketing team which will allow you to participate in a wide variety of tasks across the business. You will be required to interact with internal as well as external customers with great customer service as a key to your success.

Department & supervisor

You will work as part of a small team of experts and report directly to the Business Unit Director.


This role is based in Quintiq's Melbourne office. You will be expected to work with colleagues from around the world.

Type of employment

This is a full-time role. Quintiq does not sponsor visa applications for this position.

Tender and Request for Proposal Management:-

Scan tender websites and highlight tenders of interest to sales executives;

Manage the co-ordination and completion of Request for Proposal/Quotation (RFP/Q) bids and act as the central co-ordination point through to submission;

Manage and produce appropriate marketing content for tenders in the company’s knowledge portal;

Support the co-ordination of customer site references (local and global customers).

Lead and Client Management:-

Support I-Sales to process and manage inbound leads using the CRM system ( including outbound emails and calls as appropriate;

Maintain customer records in, including client contacts and details;

Support the creation of Account Plans for prospective and existing clients in conjunction with Sales Executives;

Support Marketing with lead management campaigns driven by marketing;

Support Marketing with the development and input in the production of company marketing and sales collateral (e.g. newsletters, brochures etc.).

Other duties as directed

Job requirements

Personable, outgoing, helpful & team oriented;

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an office environment or a similar support (or relevant) role;

Excellent skills using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel);

Strong attention to detail;

Excellent time management skills;

Excellent customer service skills or internal sales background;

The ability to deal with complex issues;

Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills;

Ability to build and maintain relationships;

Ability to prioritize and to meet deadlines.

Experience using CRM tools such as desirable.

Bachelor’s Degree (Sales, Marketing, other related discipline) desirable.
