Quintiq, part of Dassault Systèmes, is looking for a Senior Sales Executive.
You will sell sophisticated planning and optimization software to midsized and large companies in a specific market. Your focus will be working with prospects, designing the business case for improved planning results by using the Quintiq software. You’ll work with prospects at various levels, from domain experts up to board level. You will be responsible for all aspects of the complex sales cycle, mobilizing the right colleagues at the right moment, while keeping a clear focus on results, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of business ethics.
The China and North Asia Business Unit focuses on large metal & manufacturing companies, airports, airlines, logistics service providers, terminals, ports, and other large organizations that have a challenging planning puzzle. We work with planners, sales, planning and operation directors, and other executives on a daily basis. Now we are looking for a highly motivated Software Sales Executive for our office in Shanghai.
Department & supervisor
You will work as part of a small team of experts, and will report directly to the business unit director.
This role is based in Quintiq Shanghai office, but you will be expected to work with colleagues around the world. Some domestic and international travel to and from customer sites and Quintiq offices is required.
Type of employment

Create and manage complex sales cycles, including lead generation and qualification;
Maximize existing client relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction;
Involve the right consultants and management at the right moment during the sales cycle;
Keep all parties at all levels involved and committed;
Be able to close deals.
A relevant university degree;
At least 6 years experience in a similar role;
Consultative selling style;
Excellent presentation, lead qualification and client relationship skills;
Experience in complex sales cycles, e.g. selling large scale ERP/SCM solutions to multinationals;
Ability to understand customer needs, aligning these to Quintiq’s offering;
Successful background in business development in large organizations;
A good command of English.
